Solar Power Smoothie

Simple, Sweet, and Delicious

When it comes to digestion less is more. Smoothie combinations don't have to be fancy to be good. The Solar Power Smoothie is my all-time favorite smoothie combination, and it only has four ingredients. Of course, you may not love what I love but I'm sure you'll love this!

Health properties of yellow foods: Antioxidant, promotes enzymatic activity, improves gastric motility/regulation, and supports healthy gut microbiome.

Benefits of Mangos

  1. High in antioxidants

  2. Heart Healthy

  3. Contains immunity supportive nutrients

Benefits of Oranges

  1. High in Vitamin C

  2. Enhances blood flow to the brain

  3. Water Rich - contributes to daily water consumption

Benefits of Bananas

  1. Rich in soluble fiber

  2. High in potassium

  3. Fuel for athletes before and after workouts



  • 1 cup frozen Mango

  • 1 medium sized Orange

  • 1/2 medium sized Banana

  • 1 cup water


This smoothie is just as good without frozen mango. If your mango is not frozen use a little less water.

Tangerines and Grapefruits are a great substitution for Oranges.

If you have access to fresh coconut water, use it in place of filtered water.


Toss your water, mangos, peeled oranges, and banana into your blender and puree until smooth. Enoy
