The Easiest & Fastest Chia Seed Pudding

I don't hate spending time in the kitchen but I do love getting in and right back out. When I make chia pudding I usually make it right before bed so it's ready when needed the next day. Scroll down and read the ingredients a few times before you start and you can be in and out of the kitchen in under 5 minutes like me!

Chia Seeds are a great source of fiber.

How to use chia seeds to your benefit...

If your digestion is on the slower side adding just 2tbsp of chia seeds to your daily diet can help regulate your bowel movements. Whole seeds are generally hard for the body to break down so milling the seeds or blending them is best.

There are many ways to enjoy this recipe.

  1. Top with fruit and enjoy as a Parfait.

  2. Blend into a smoothie as a yogurt substitute.

  3. Replace the milk with fruit juice and create a jam.

Ingredients

Servings: 4

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1 cup non dairy milk *Homemade is best

  • For "milkier" pudding use 3 tbsp of chia seeds

Toppings

  • Fruit of your choice: Fresh or Frozen works well too

  • Optional *Natural Sweetener: Agave, Pure Maple, Date Syrup

Step 1

Stir chia seeds and milk together in a mixing bowl.

Instead of making a large batch in the mixing bowl; Pour 1tbsp chia seeds into your mini mason jars along with 1/4c milk. Viola! Pudding cups complete for the week.

Step 2

Cover and refrigerate overnight or for 2hrs

Step 3

Whisk well with a fork, the mixture can gel into clumps.

For smoother pudding. Blend to a consistency of your liking
