Cashews are rich in nutrients and offer several health benefits. Sadly, most roasted nuts in the market are processed with very poor low-quality oils. Surprisingly the organic ones were even coated in unnecessary fillers.
Let making your own become your new norm! Not only are they a cleaner option but cheaper too, especially when purchasing in bulk. True cashew lovers will appreciate the better taste and endless spice options.
1/2c Raw Unroasted Cashews
1/8tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Optional: Sea Salt
Pre heat your oven to 315 degrees.
Add the cashews, oil and salt to an oven safe dish and toss well.
*1/8tsp doesn't seem like a lot of oil but the cashews will create some oil
Roast for 30 minutes, stir after the first 15 minutes.
Wait 5-10 minutes then Enjoy!
This is the hard part, let the cashews cool. After pulling them out of the oven the cashews will be a little soft.
